Executive Director’s Desk

It is hard to believe that six months have already passed since my coming to the West Memphis Chamber.  I would like to recap some of the things that have occurred during this time:

  • We have begun our rebranding.
  • Our supportive Diplomats are now referred to as Ambassadors.
  • The Chamber has hosted some successful events including another annual banquet, an inaugural business women’s luncheon, lunch and learns with focus on information that can be used now to support business growth and safety.
  • We have made contact with ten of the seventeen mayors of Crittenden County cities.
  • The West Memphis Chamber membership has grown from 375 to 401 from January to June of 2024.
  • We now have begun promoting businesses using professional videographers. We were able to negotiate a very reasonable price for advertising your business.
  • The Chamber has created a YouTube channel that will be live very soon.

We have been working diligently with fostering partnerships and greatly appreciate Mayor McClendon and the City of West Memphis, Jim Jackson and the West Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau, Chief Campbell and the West Memphis Police Department. We look forward to cultivating even more business relationships.

The 2024 Leadership Crittenden class begins in August.  There are some great speakers and activities in store for this new class.

One of our newest partnerships is with Crittenden County Cares.  Visit our website to learn more about this community event or to be a vendor (www.WestMemphisChamber.com).

Finally, please be reminded you can stay in the know about Chamber events by visiting our website. You can also stay in the know on the go! Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter so our information is regularly visible on your feed.
