The West Memphis Chamber takes pride in promoting and supporting our businesses. In reviewing membership, we see that from January to August of 2023, the Chamber welcomed 17 new members. This year the Chamber has welcomed 26 new members from January to August, 5 re-established members, and 2 businesses that closed but reopened under a different name. To date, the total of current active members is 370. We are growing!
As we continue to grow, we are looking at more innovative ways to collaborate with you to see the growth you desire for your business. When you win, we win. So, please be sure to continue to read our publication to know and be present for your fellow business owners’ events and for Chamber perks that are part of your membership.
With that, we are looking forward to our masquerade themed dinner fundraiser. Sunday, October 20 the Chamber is hosting one of its major fundraisers in the form of a dinner theatre. Please get your tickets early as we do not want you to miss out on this black tie affair that is sure to entertain you from start to finish.
Crittenden County Leadership Cohort has begun its sessions. The 2024-2025 class was hosted by Chamber member Chrissy Carlson at the Great River Lodge. Cohort members participated in team building activities and did a deep dive into their leadership styles with the Culture Index Survey with Sumeet Chahal. We are looking forward to the next 6 months with this class.
In observance of the national holiday honoring the achievements of the labor movement in America advocating for better work conidtions, reasonable hours, and fair wages, the West Memphis Chamber of Commerce will be closed Monday, September 2 for Labor Day.
