Happy Earth Day!

The first annual Women in Business Roundtable was greatly supported. The event was at capacity two weeks prior to the luncheon.  I enjoyed sitting on the panel with Shelby Jo Moore (Fidelity), Dr. Susan Jones (East Arkansas Family Health Center), and Dr. Debra West (Arkansas State University Mid-South) sharing information with businesswomen of various careers. We want to appreciate Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home, Education and Training Solutions, and Evolve for being our three major financial sponsors for the event. We will have pictorial recounts from the event on our social media platforms and website.

This past week’s Tasty Tuesday hosted some of our business owners at Hometown Grill. Thank you for all who dined in or got carry out orders to support one of our local restaurants.

Please calendar the America’s River Crossing Public Meeting.  The first one was held last week in Memphis. This second of two meetings will be held here in West Memphis Thursday, April 25 from 5 – 7 pm at the Eugene Woods Civic Center (212 West Polk Avenue). During this time, you will be able to view conceptual layouts, speak to subject matter experts, and understand the impact to business.

The West Memphis Chamber is working daily to serve our business community.  In doing so, we would like to keep you connected with us. Please be sure to follow us on our social media platforms for on-the-go information.  You, too, can access information via our website.

Thank you for your valued membership with the West Memphis Chamber of Commerce where we work to strengthen connections.
